Homework

*To begin, I want to thank you for a wonderful school year. You are all very
special children and will remain "my students" for all of your lives. You
also have truly been a part of my family, as we danced on the tables for the
birth of my grandson and granddaughter. You
have all touched my life, and I thank you for that. I
wish you a healthy, happy summer filled with rest and relaxation.

Also, don't forget to read over the summer. Try to expand your favorite genre
and try some new types of books. You never know what will excite you. To
add, don't forget about the summer reading for 8th grade class. You will
need to write a one page typed reaction paper over the summer to a book that
you read over the summer. Remember, a reaction paper is not a summary of the
book. Be sure to use exact details from the text to support your reactions
and feelings. See the hand-out given to you from me. This is going to be
due the day you return to school in Sept. (see the announcement section of my
web page).

Once again, it has certainly been a pleasure teaching you this past year.
Have a terrific summer and most of all a wonderful life. Please keep in touch
and let me know how you all are.

My love,
Mrs. Margolies
