PRACTICE
REMINDERS:
- make us notice you for good things...not negative things...as
Coach Wear says, "impress us; don't depress us".
Please bring a jump rope to every
practice
Do NOT ask "what are we doing
today?" The weather and available space often forces us to make last minute
changes.
Practice/scrimmages/games six (6) days a week including spring
break.
Keep checking coach's office window and web site for changes in
schedules
Always be ready to go both indoors/outdoors (including cleats)
You should be taking at least 100 swings per day (dry swings/soft
toss/hitting tee/cage work)
When the weather is not frigid, you should be long tossing
See Heather in the trainers office for TheraBand - you should use
the TheraBand EVERY DAY.
You should be up to a 20 minute run everyday
Lifting is important under the supervision of the weight room director. You
want to lift for strength, not bulk. You must remain flexible. TheraBand after
each lifting session.
At every practice/game; look like a ball player. Wear a baseball
hat, facing the front, at all times
Make sure your name is on your mitt
Not everyone can play ball but everyone can hustle; impress us with
your hustle
