Play Tennis for Oakland Schools
The Oakland Education Foundation (OEF) will host, “Serving Up Education 2009,” on Saturday, November 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the Franklin Lakes Racquet Club, 803 Susquehanna Ave., Franklin Lakes. Proceeds will benefit programs that support Oakland’s K- 8 schools. The event is open to tennis players and spectators in and outside of Oakland. Players will participate in two, 40-minute matches. The costs, $55 per tennis player, $30 per non-player, include food, beverages, music, and raffles. Space is limited to 40 players and 20 non-players. Save Money, Raise Money Through TD Bank
The Oakland Education Foundation (OEF) is now participating in the TD Bank Affinity Program, which is helping the OEF raise money by donating a percentage of all balances linked to OEF Affinity Program. Link your existing TD Bank account(s) or open a new account. TD Bank will deposit $25 into your account if you open a new, non-interest bearing checking account. Call or stop by your branch to link your account to the Oakland Education Foundation Affinity Program. The OEF will be notified only of the number of accounts linked. No one will have access to any individual’s account balance information. Each year TD Bank will donate a percentage of the average balance of linked accounts.

Dogwood Hill PTO’s Calendar Raffle
For $10 you can purchase a ticket in the Dogwood Hill PTO's calendar raffle. The ticket is good for ALL 7 drawings. 6 of the drawings are for $100 and the final drawing is for $300. Even if you win, your ticket goes back in and you can win again and again!
The drawings will take place at Dogwood Hill School at 9:00 am on 11/16, 11/23, 11/30, 12/7, 12/13, 12/21 and 1/4.
You do NOT need be present to win! Winners will be announced weekly in the Newsflash!
All tickets and payments (checks made payable to Dogwood Hill PTO) must be returned to school in an envelope marked Dogwood Hill PTO Calendar Raffle by Friday, November 6th. All unsold tickets must also be returned to school by Friday, November 6th.
