I am thrilled to be starting my third year in The Oakland Public Schools. I
am a certified School Counselor with a Master of Arts Degree in School
Counseling K-12 from New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture,
Education and Human Development. I completed my undergraduate studies in
Psychology and Dance at Muhlenberg College.
As the school counselor at the Manito and Heights Elementary Schools, I work
with the children, parents, and staff to support the students academic,
social, and emotional needs. I will be seeing students individually, in small
groups, and in classroom settings. I am the Anti-Bullying Specialist at
Heights Elementary, and am on the School Safety Team at Manito Elementary.
Additionally, I chair the Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) and
Section 504 committees at both schools.
