Phonics: We are working on the oa as in boat, o as in gold, ow as in snow,
oe as in toe and the o as in so. Phonics test any time.
Reading: This week we will work on graphics.
Math: I am beginning double digits, place value, and still working on facts,
word problems. We will work on rounding. Many children forget to underline
question in word problems, circle important data, show work and label.
Grammar: Can you tell if a noun is singular or plural, regular or irregular?
(possible test.)
Science: Chapter 2 was started. Science test on
Friday, Nov. 13th, chapter 2.
Each Friday is bring a book to read day. We still have so many on-going Wall-
e projects. We have a listening center and an English center.
Again, thank you for pencil donations.
