We have 3 birthday's this month. Briana on the 19th,Kate on the 22nd, and
Carina on the 29th.
This afternoon we will be getting our H1N1 flu shots if you are signed for
one.
Math: Subtraction from 11 and 12 in vertical and horizontal form. We will use
the numberline and use counters. REMEMBER we are getting Lell when we
subtract and we go backwards on the numberline.
We will learn the related facts in subtraction-- 8-3=5, 8-5=3, 10-4=6,10-6=4.
Also how subtraction and addition are related= 3+5=8, 8-5=3 (THEY ARE A
FAMILY) 6+3=9, 9-6=3 (THEY ARE A FAMILY)
Reading is short i with x as mix, fix, six etc. We will read about fish. Our
words are: how, many,on, they, why. We will look at some beautiful fish in
our Readers.
We will learn Opposites as: up-down, on-off, big-little, light-dark, walk-
run etc.
Word orser in sentences is important. Look at this sentence-- have at I home
a fish I have a fish at home.
Science is Life cycles of the frog and the butterfly. How they change and
grow.
Religion is The Lord's Prayer and its meaning. Also the miracle of Jesus when
He stopped the storm- a favorite of the children.Jesus shows that he is God's
Son.
