Also go over problemsolving as : Mary has 5 flowers and Jane has 1 less or
fewer than her. How many do they have together?
Mary has 5, Jane has 4( which is 1 less) They have 9 together
Jane and Tom both have 3 pets. How many do they have together? 3+3=6
Jane has 5 dolls and Patricia has as many as her. How many do the both girls
have? Jane has 5 and Patricia has 5. They have 10.
