        STUDENTS CAN HAVE A LIGHT AND HEALTHY SNACK ON 1/2 DAYS ONLY

             *TEST FOLDER WILL GO HOME EVERY FRIDAY*                        
Parents please do not forget to sign and return your child's weekly test 
folder along with stamp sign and return tests by Monday. This is one way of 
communicating on how your child is doing on a weekly basis.

HOLY SPIRIT CLASS TRIP 
     CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR AT THE RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL
                      TUESDAY,DECEMBER 1ST 
      $40.00 Payment Due: October 5th, Monday. NO LATER!!!!
       
A drawing will be held early this week for parents who are interested in 
attending.

PROGRESS REPORTS WILL GO HOME THIS TUESDAY, 13TH FOR ALL STUDENTS. PARENTS 
PLEASE ASK FOR THEM.

LASER SHOW ON WEDNESDAY, 14TH.

PEP RALLY THIS FRIDAY, 16TH. FUN FOR ALL TO ATTEND.

READING 
Students should be reading at home at least 10 min on a daily or nightly 
basis.  Students should also keep a journal at home and write after they've 
read. This will help the students with comprehension.

Students must have a book to read in class during our 
down time.

Students should be reading a book, magazines and/or newspapers (age 
appropriate) on a daily basis.  It should be something that is fun, 
educational and interest them. Students should be reading at least 10 
minutes (may varied according to individuals)and should read loudly where 
they can hear themselves saying and pronouncing words. 
Reading consistently will improve most importantly comprehension skills, 
verbal & writing skills.
