Welcome to the ICS Band Webpage!
 
The ICS Band welcomes any ICS students who are interested to join the Band for the school year 2011/2012.  We offer a range of instrumental performing groups in which to excel as a musician including a 4th Grade Concert Band, 5th Grade Concert Band and a 6th-8th Grade Wind Ensemble.  We have a Jazz Band open to all 5th Grade Students as well as a Jazz Band for 6th-8th Grade Students.  All Band sign-up forms can be found on this site.  Please hand them in to Mrs. Webber's mailbox in the school office. 
 
Band lessons are held on a weekly basis on a rotating schedule so that students are pulled from a different class each lesson.  Band rehearsals are held once a week during recess.  Please check your band schedules which are also available on this site for lesson times and Band rehearsal times.

  • Jr. Spartan Band Day- Friday Sept. 23, 2011- 7 pm
  • Christmas Ensemble Concert- December 13,  2011(Brass and Woodwind Only)
  • Christmas Concert- December 20, 20101
  • Spring Ensemble Concert- May 15, 2012 (Percussion and Woodwind Only)
  • 6/7/8 Band trip- May 18, 2012
  • Spring Concert- May 22, 2012
  • 6/7/8 Jazz Band Performance in Somerville- Thursday, May 24, 2012
