Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
  1. Will the paint come out of my clothing?
  2. Will I get my artwork back?
  3. What is the Library Show?
  4. Where can I find additional art classes for my budding artist?

Will the paint come out of my clothing?

All paints that are used in the art studio are water-based and should wash
out. I recommend pre-treating the spot with a stain remover before washing
according to garment instructions.

Will I get my artwork back?

Absolutely! I display student work in the building for extended periods of
time...usually until new projects are finished and I can rotate art. I
value student work and feel the best place to share it is in our Irwin
community.

What is the Library Show?

The East Brunswick Public Library displays student work every Spring. Irwin
usually shares space with one or two other elementary schools in the
district during this exhibit. Last year, approximately 100 Irwin students
had work chosen for the show. The purpose of this exhibit is to share our
wonderful art program with the East Brunswick community.

Where can I find additional art classes for my budding artist?

Most arts and craft supply stores offer classes for children. Also, Arts
Councils in local communities frequently offer classes. Galleries and
private art studios are also good places to inquire about private lessons.
