| We are beginning our unit on Colonial America. There is a lot of notetaking
involved in this unit. Remind your child to get the notes that they miss in
class. We will also begin preparing for our Oral Assessments. More

PLEASE REMEMBER: THE STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THE THE NOTES THEY
MISS DURING CLASS. THEY ARE ALLOWED TO SHARE NOTEBOOKS WITH ANOTHER STUDENT
TO COPY MISSED NOTES.
In addition to our focus on history, the students also work with interactive
maps and atlases to study geography on a regular basis. We use Time for
Kids weekly to keep on top of current events and issues facing our world.
