How does the PTA help our school?
The PTA provides Irwin School with the resources needed to sponsor programs
such as Boogie Bash, Winter Carnival, 5th Grade Moving Up, Field Day,
classroom holiday parties and many other events. The PTA also financially
supports the Holiday Boutique, School Store, The Irwin Insider and Book
Fairs. The PTA also purchases annual school gifts such as the playground,
the mat at the school entrance and the outside school marquee.

How can I join the PTA?
Forms to join the Irwin PTA can be downloaded from the "Download PTA Forms"
page of this website. The cost is $6.00 for One
Parent/Guardian/Teacher/Staff and $12.00 for a family membership. Return
the completed from with the fee in an envelope marked "PTA Membership".

What is the benefit of joining the PTA?
By being a paid member of the PTA it entitles you to be a room parent, chair
a committee, hold a board position and to take part in a PTA budget vote
or election. By being a member of the PTA it does not obligate you to
volunteer. You may support the PTA in any way you can.

When and where are the PTA meetings?
Monthly PTA meetings are listed on the calendar web page. They are also
printed in the Board Of Education Annual Calendar and are posted on EBTV.
Meetings are usually held in the school library unless otherwise noted.
