| Irwin School PTA
On behalf of the Irwin School PTA, welcome to the 2008-2009 school
year. We are looking forward to this school year being an enjoyable one for
kids and adults alike. Thanks for viewing our web page; please bookmark it
and check it frequently. We are trying to reduce our printing costs and “go
green” for the environment.
The PTA is an active organization that exists only with parent and
teacher participation. We have many events and activities planned this year
and we hope you will show your support to our PTA and our school. Some of
the activities and educational programs the PTA is providing to our school
community are: Ice Cream Social, Boogie (Halloween) Bash, Author Visit,
International Night Dinner, Cultural Arts Assemblies, 1-2-3 Night, and Field
Day, just to name a few. These events and services cannot be provided
without the help of our parent volunteers. Become a member TODAY!!
Our first PTA meeting will be on September 25th at 7:30pm.
Everyone is welcome to join us. Our first matter of business will be the
PTA budget (only PTA members can participate in the vote).
If you ordered a School Supply Box they will be on your child's
desk on the first day of school. The school store will be selling agenda
books for grades 2-4, as well as a variety of other school supplies, during
lunch periods on Wednesdays. Your support helps fund our projects and is a
direct benefit to your children.
Research has proven that children do better when their parents are
involved both at home and at school. Join the PTA and make a difference.
