Hello Everyone,
Our next PTA Meeting is Wednesday, November 18th at 7:30pm. There will be babysitting available for your school-aged children. We will be covering topics including an update on H1N1 vaccinations, November and December Events, as well as Fifth Grade Committee happenings. We hope to see you there!
School Picture Re-takes will be on Thursday, November 19th. If you wish for your child to take another picture, please make sure all pictures received are returned no later than Thursday morning. If your child was absent on October 28th, and you would like their picture taken, please send a note in alerting their teacher so they may take a picture. Miss Siegel's class - a reminder - you will be taking your new class picture on Thursday as well. Be prepared with your best smiles!

SEPTA ADOPT A FAMILY
(for Thanksgiving)
SEPTA (Special Education PTA) will be collecting
items for a needy East Brunswick family with a disabled child.
Please bring your donations to the November SEPTA
Meeting at the EB Library on Thursday November 12th , at 7pm
Some suggestions include:
$1, $5, $10 (or whatever you can afford)
so that we can provide a Shop Rite gift card
for their Holiday dinner.
Any food items (non perishable)
If you have something perishable, I can arrange a pick up
& deliver it directly to the family.
This family is practically homeless & in real need.
Anything you can do would be appreciated!
If you cannot make it to the meeting, you can drop off your donation to
IRWIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ON RACETRACK ROAD.
I have a donation box in the lobby/office for your convenience.
We will be collecting items thru Friday November 20th.

As you know, our school earns money by you sending in your Box Tops for Education, which look like the logo below. We earned over $1000 last year for our school just with this fundraiser. We are having our contest to see which class can send in the most Box Tops for a free recess - So far, Mrs. Sarti, Ms. LiPuma, and Ms. Graf are leading, but there is still plenty of time until the end of February when this contest ends. Please help us by simply cutting them out and sending them in with your child - thank you!!
There is another very simple way to earn our school free money - just click on the link below, and register with the Box Tops website for our school. Every parent that does this, earns Irwin Elementary School a free 50 cents!! There are only 24 days left to earn the school this free money, so please do it today! While in the website, you will see there are coupons as well to print out for some of your favorite products. Thanks so much again for supporting your childrens' school!!
