2nd Grade

This would be a great time for them to count by different numbers. For
example, while you're driving in the car, have them skip count by 3's
starting at zero.

Also, please review with them the months of the year, days of the week and
how to use the calendar.

Always, have your child explain their answers to you. Hearing their thought
process is a great way to understand their thinking.

3rd Grade

Please practice telling time with your child. They should be getting more
comfortable with telling time to the minute. You can do this at any point
during the day.

Also, have them make different combinations with bills and coins. They
should also write the amount down.

Don't forget to practice addition and subtraction facts!

5th Grade

In the beginning of 5th grade the students are learning about factors,
divisility and prime factorization. Practice having your child name factors
for numbers. For example, the number 30: 1,2,3,5,6,15,30

Don't forget to practice multiplication and division facts!
