About The Teacher

     I grew up in in Queens, NY and attended St. Joseph's Elementary and St. 
Vincent Ferrer High School.  After graduating from high school, I received 
my BA in Psychology and Elementary Education from Fordham University at 
Lincoln Center.  I also received my MA in Special Education from Fordham.  I 
am currently taking graduate credits in literacy education.
     
     I've been a teacher for twenty-two years.  My teaching career 
started in New York City at PS 71 in Queens, where I taught both regular and 
special education.  From there, I became the office manager for North Jersey 
Animal Hospital here in Wayne.  I started teaching at JFK in September, 
1999.  This is my tenth year teaching at JFK. 

     I am very proud to work here at J.F.K. and I look forward to working 
with your child this year!
