About The Teacher

Welcome! I am very excited to join you/your student through your journey here
at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School!

Let me tell you about the path that brought me here: I am a former resident
of Woodbridge Township. I graduated from Woodbridge High School in 2002,
where I fell in love with Literature. I was actively involved in the Gifted
and Talented Theater Arts program for nine years and took creative writing
and journalism courses in high school. I spent four summers as a YMCA camp
counselor at the Woodbridge Community Center. I attended Ramapo College of
New Jersey and majored in Literature. I graduated in May 2006 with my
Bachelor's Degree and certification in secondary education. I was very
fortunate to complete my student teaching semester in the Woodbridge School
District, at Woodbridge H.S.

My first teaching position was in Manville, N.J., teaching 7th grade Language
Arts. With a desire in my heart to teach high school and an itch to
return to Woodbridge Township, I received a position at Woodbridge
High School, where I taught English 9R/S, English 12R/S, and Journalism. In
September 2010, I joined the John F. Kennedy community. I am extremely happy
to be here and I am looking forward to another great school year!
