The purpose of the Information Curriculum is to develop students' ability to
access and assess a world of ideas, information, and imagination, preparing
them to be contributors to a democratic society in an Information Age.
The mission of the Information Curriculum is to develop students' critical
thinking skills through involvement in subject-related guided inquiry and
real-life explorations unimpeded by format, whether print or technology-
based, and to foster recreational reading, essential for lifelong learning.
