Mr. McGroarty graduated from Saint Patrick's College Maynooth, Co.Kildare,
Ireland with an honors degree in Mathematics and Mathematical Physics.
He also received a Master's degree in Mathematics from Maynooth as well as a
Master's degree in Administration and Supervision from Montclair State
University. Mr. McGroarty has taught at J.F.K. High School for twelve very
enjoyable years.
Mr. McGroarty prides himself on trying to make mathematics enjoyable and
comprehensible to all learners. His goal for AP Calculus students is that
they will be prepared to take the AP exam and receive college credit.
Math 3 ASI students are provided with the skills they need to pass the High
School Proficiency Assessment which is a high school graduation
requirement.
