Mr. Bell graduated from Seton Hall University this semester with a Master's
Degree in Education Leadership, Management and Policy. Previously, he
graduated from William Paterson University with a B.A. in History and has
completed over 30 graduate credits in Teaching at that institution. He holds
a New Jersey K-8 Standard Teaching License, a NJ Supervisor Certificate and a
NJ Principal Certificate of Eligibility.
While in Kinnelon, Mr. Bell has received numerous grants that has helped the
Kinnelon Education Foundation and the Kinnelon Elementary Home School
Association purchase technology for the classrooms of Kiel and Sisco School.
Over the past three years, he has been instrumental in implementing
technology throughout the school with the use of SMART Boards, webquests and
other web based activities. He is also seen throughout the district by
sitting on numerous committees (Kiel Building Team, Technology, Emergency
Crisis Response Team) and is the Assistant Girls Soccer Coach at Kinnelon
High School. Last season, we was the Head Coach of the Girls PRM Middle
School Soccer team that won the Morris County Championship for the first time
in 23 years. He has been teaching in Kinnelon since 2006. Previously, he was
a First Grade Teacher in the Wyckoff School District.
When he is not at school, he keeps busy by volunteering on the
Pequannock Township Fire Department. On January 1, 2010 he will be promoted
to Captain with Engine Company #1 in Pompton Plains. You can usually see him
around Kinnelon cheering for his students at different events. (As long as he
gets a schedule!)
Mr.and Mrs. Bell reside with their dog Rooney in Pompton Plains.
