In ILA we are studying the Holocaust through literature. Number
the Stars will be read aloud in all ILA classes. Students will read
grade appropriate Holocaust literature during guided reading. This is a very
powerful unit, and your children may have questions that they would like to
discuss with you. Please discuss the roles of victims, bullies, bystanders,
and the terms prejudice and discrimination.
