Students in grades 3-5 should be "On the Look Out" for "Highlights, Shadows 
and Midtones in the objects that you see.

Students in grade 2 should be looking at the colors in the sky, trees and 
ground to prepare them to paint their "Monet Landscapes"

Students in grade 1 should be looking to see different textures.
