Each night there will be at least one page of Math homework.
Every night your child should be reading for 20 minutes.
Along with reading, on Tuesday and Thursday nights,students should be writing
in their Reader's Response notebooks. Look for this notebook each Tuesday
and Thursday night. A letter will be attached inside to give students ideas
for what to write about. Remember that every response is 6 points! A rubric
will be attached to the notebook. Spelling counts!
Every Friday a Personal Journal entry must be turned
in. This entry could be about anything, but must be about a page long.
Fridays:
Although HW is not usually given on Fridays, there may be times when HW
needs to be completed.
Please continue to check your child's agenda and Lawrence Brook folder each
night. Papers will be sent home on a regular basis. If your child recently
took a test, please look for it to be sent home as well. It will need to be
signed.
