I am currently recruiting new strings students in the 4th grade classrooms
as well as any 5th graders new to the school or any 5th graders who did not
start a string instrument last year but would like to this year.
As soon as I receive your child's instrument choice form, I'll measure
him/her for the correct size instrument and send the rental contract home.
Please fill out the contract and return it to school as soon as possible so
that we can get your order underway.
A suggestion about the order form: Please make sure to order a music
stand if you do not already have one. The care kit is a good thing to
have. The other items on the order list are not necessary (DVD, CD, etc.)
and I do not use them in class.
I strongly encourage renting an instrument in the first year. Your
child will grow and likely need a new size before the end of the year. The
contract includes any size exchange needed plus any repairs or damage that
might occur. But if you would prefer to buy, please wait until I have
measured your child for the correct size. Also please contact me for advice
