| Kindergarten should be practicing the letters Bb, Mm, Ss, and Ff and the
sight words I, go, like, the, and a. They have been comparing different
animals and reviewing color words.
First graders should know how to read, spell, and write the sight words:
come, down, had, have, I, in, is, like, my, not, or, said, she, the, to, go,
you. They can practice singing the song about human life cycles on the
papers they took home.
Second graders have begun to review the vocabulary of plants. They have been
studying plant life cycles.
Third and fourth graders need to pratice making sentences with the past
tense verbs: was were, saw, thought, looked, walked, moved, and rode. They
have been reading about vehicles from the past and comparing them to
vehicles in the present.
