Announcements

Welcome back to Lawrence Brook for another great year, and welcome to all the
Kindergarten and Pre-School parents who have just joined us.

Lice checks have been done on all the children, and will be done as necessary
during the year.

I have started doing blood pressure and vision screening and will continue
until every child has been checked. You will only hear from me if your child
fails the screening. If you have concerns about your child's vision, give me
a call, and I can schedule them right a way.

Remember that birthday snacks are no longer allowed in the school because of
the increase in the amount of life-threatening allergies experienced by some
of the children. Instead of birthday treats you have several options:
*send in a book for the classroom library.
*send in a non-food item (pencils, erasers, etc.)
*contact the cafeteria manager and order a safe snack for the class.
*send in money for the birthday cart.

CONTACT ME ANYTIME AT 732-613-6873, OR at lseligman@ebnet.org.

*EVERY FRIDAY IS HAT DAY FOR A CHILDREN'S CHARITY THAT WILL BE DETERMINED BY
THIS YEAR'S STUDENT COUNCIL. FOR $.25, YOUR CHILD MAY WEAR A HAT OF THEIR
CHOSING DURING THE SCHOOL DAY, AND THE MONEY WILL BE COLLECTED DURING THE
YEAR AND SENT TO A CHARITY.
