¡Bienvenidos a nuestra clase!


Please bring the following items to class every day:

        • Three ring binder for Spanish with dividers

        • English/Spanish dictionary

        • Spiral notebook (or white lined paper in your binder)

        • L.V.M.S. agenda

        • Writing implement

        • Textbook

All homework assignments are due the following day for full credit.  Late assignments will not receive full credit except in cases of absence.


I will announce homework and write assignments in the designated section of the front board.



Grading

Listening comprehension is the first step in natural language acquisition. As students understand what they hear, they begin to produce utterances provided they feel comfortable. To help students become accustomed to speaking, they will be encouraged to use gestures and the target language to communicate whenever possible.

 

Because they are so closely linked, the “Listening” and “Use of Target Language” categories are combined for grading purposes. They are heavily weighted due to their importance in language acquisition.
