I have been teaching in Vernon Township for the past 23 years in grades
five through seven. I am NJ certified nursery school through grade eight
elementary education, and Teacher of the Handicapped K-12. Though I have
taught all subjects, my first love is language arts. I have also taught
special education in Mt. Olive and Woodbridge, NJ, for five years, grades
three through nine. My hobbies include reading, walking, bike riding,
traveling and spending time with family and friends. I had the special
opportunity to visit Great Britain, Ireland, taly and Colombia with my
family over the past few summers which was quite amazing!
This year I teach fifth grade team II students language arts and social
studies at Lounsberry Hollow Middle School in room 222. I reside in Vernon
with my husband and daughter, Shannon, who is a special needs teacher at
GMMS. My son, Steve, who is an accountant,married,and resides in Lincoln
Park with his wife, Zonia.
My desire is to inspire children to always try their best and to achieve
their highest potential. I hope they will be involved in my classroom to
support one another and participate in class production. My students will
become better readers, writers, listeners, and problem solvers.
