CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL YOUR TERRIFIC EFFORTS ON NJ ASK 2012!!

HAIKU PRODUCTION - Students are capturing feelings, scenes, and moments from 
their readings in the form of haikus which will then be displayed through 
PhotoStory and Animoto presentations.

EKPHRASTIC POETRY DISPLAY - Students created artwork based on their 
reflections on famous paintings, and then wrote haikus to reflect their 
original work. Students worked with Mrs. Schiano on a video production 
discussing their projects.

The sixth grade authors wrote narratives as part of an author 
study on Chris Van Allsburg. Their original creations were based on The 
Mysteries of Harris Burdick and The Chronicles of Harris Burdick. Check out

Using PhotoStory, students also just finished producing short movies based on 
their stories.

Recycling Project in the works!! Please start collecting and bringing in 
plastic bottle caps of all shapes and sizes. You can drop them off in the 
library or in Room 105. JOIN IN!!!
