Ask Your Child...

On most days, when we ask our children what they did in school, they
usually will answer "nothing". On this page are a few suggested questions
for you to ask your child so that you might find out what he or she is
learning in the classroom:

Ask your child...

...what book he/she is reading for Book-It.

...to tell you who is his/her favorite character in "Charlotte's Web".

...to recite the "Charlotte's Web' poem he/she memorized.

...to explain what a linking verb is.

...to recite a times table for you.

...to explain when sound can be pleasant or unpleasant.

...to share with you what he/she learned about Lenape longhouses.
