There will be a math test on Unit 4 at the end of the week. The following topics will be covered.
making estimates for quotients involving decimals ex. 62.3/8
write a number sentence that models a number story
solve number sentences for given variables ex. if x=5 what is 30 * x
division of single and double digits using a strategy of your own choosing ex 325/ 12, 8*___=256
We will be starting Unit 5
Science
Students will continue using microscopes and the class will measure the size of objects under a
microscope in millimeters. Students will learn to prepare wet mount slides for their microscopes and
learn to focus over an object that has depth.
