December 14-18 Math This week in math students will continue to practice renaming fractions as mixed numbers and mixed numbers as decimals. Students should be able to convert between fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals. Students will learn how to use a calculator to convert fractions to decimals. Students will begin to use percents and will learn how to convert fractions and decimals to percents. Science Students will be learning about cells. Students will diagram both plant and animal cells and state the differences between the two. Students will examine and diagram onion cells under the microscope.
