Math
We have begun Unit 4 which covers topics related to division. Students will
practice two different methods for division choosing the one that they feel
most comfortable using. Students will also practice making magnitude
estimates for division problems and will practice dividing with decimals.
Students will gain experience in interpreting the remainder in a division
problem and deciding to round up or down.
Science
We will be looking at common objects using a hand lens and describing what we
see in words and with pictures. Students will use acrylic solids to deccide
which ones can magnify and which cannot.
