There will be a test in Social Studies on Chapter 2 on Wednesday, November
25th. A study guide will be sent home on Wednesday, November 17th (and a
copy of it will also be available on the handouts page of this site).

Multiplication and division are here! Each week your child will be assigned a
certain fact family to study, and there will be a quiz on Friday. Please
check your child’s agenda (or my website) to see which fact family to study.
They are responsible for knowing all the multiplication/division facts up to
12. You can study using flashcards, a deck of cards, pencil and paper, or a
game. Studying a few facts a night is a good strategy so that it is not
overwhelming. Thank you for your support.

Journals are due on your assigned due day #1-6 Tuesday: Kameron, Emmanuel,
Alyssa, Drew, Daniel, Jerri, #7-13 Wednesday: Justin, Conor, Madelyn,
Gabrielle, Sydney, Jessica, Leann, #14-20 Thursday: Sean, Nicholas K.,
Colin, Joseph, Nicholas R., Anisah, Alexandra, #21-24 Friday: Kylie, Sachit,
Brianna, Micah. Use you questions sheet to find the journal questions you
can use. You should be picking 1 question from the assigned topic (another
copy of these questions can be found on the handouts page of this site). Make
sure you use your score sheet while working on your journal. (This is to be
done in the red ILA folder.)

Students should be reading at least twenty minutes every night. Make sure
that you are discussing the book and getting the weekly reading calendars
signed. Reading calendars will be collected and scored every Friday.
