| Each night, Monday through Thursday, your child will receive one Language
Arts and one Math homework assignment. In addition, please have your child
read at least 10 minutes per night.
We are still practicing our math facts. We call this FACT POWER! It is
very important to practice math facts with your child. Flashcards are very
helpful and the children enjoy learning them this way. If possible, please
practice addition math facts (0 + 0 through 0 + 9) with your child each
night.
We have also learned how to tell time in 5 minute intervals and about the
penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and dollar. Whenever possible, let your child
tell you the time, count coins, and make change.
REMINDER: Your child's first and last names should be printed on all
assignments.
