Parents-
All students should be reading books on their level for at least
twenty minutes a night. Encourage them to take part in "Book Talk" after
they read! Below are some questions you can use to help your child talk
about the books they read.
Where did the story take place?
Who were the main characters in the story?
Which was your favorite character?
Do you have anything in common with any of the characters?
What happened first in the story?
What happened next?
How did the story end?
What do you think may have happened next?
What was your favorite part of the story?
Was this book like any other books you have read?
