Mrs. De Paolo teaches Forensic Science, Environmental Science, French 3 and
French 4 Honors. She attended Wellesley College, and received her Bachelor
degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University, subsequently working at
Hoffmann-La Roche as a chemist in the Quality Control Department.
Mrs. De Paolo's graduate studies at Montclair State, William Paterson and
Kean Universities in the Sciences, and in Special Education, were followed by
over thirty years of classroom experience at Cedar Grove High School and at
Mount Saint Dominic. She has previously taught Biology, Chemistry, Physical
Science, Earth Science, Mathematics and German. Mrs. De Paolo has studied
Forensic Science at the Henry Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the
University of New Haven.
This is her twelfth year at the Mount.
At the Mount, Mrs. De Paolo serves as Technical Director of Productions for
the Fall Drama, Spring Musical, Concerts and special events, is faculty
advisor for the Forensic Science Club, and she one of the moderators for the
yearbook, the Lumen.
As special interests, Mrs. De Paolo is a pianist and organist, and
participates in choral singing. She enjoys nature, traveling, and is an
enthusiastic scuba diver.
