Although there is no midterm or final exam in this course, there is a practical (crime scene) exercise each semester, there are many hands-on activities, and there are chapter tests.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'"><STRONG><EM><U>MARKING PERIOD 2</U></EM></STRONG></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'"><STRONG><EM><U>WEEK OF NOVEMBER 9</U></EM></STRONG></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'"><STRONG><EM><U>MONDAY</U></EM></STRONG></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">You will hand in the lab sheet summary of the activities you did in processing latent prints. On Wednesday there will be a test on Chapter 4, Fingerprints, including fingerprint types, patterns, minutia, comparison, identification.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">In class today, we will begin looking at the next chapter, Chapter 5, Hair and Fur via a powerpoint presentation. </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'"><STRONG><EM><U>TUESDAY</U></EM></STRONG></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">We will finish our powerpoint on Hair and Fur.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'"><STRONG><EM><U>WEDNESDAY</U></EM></STRONG></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">Test on Chapter 4, Fingerprints</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'"><STRONG><EM><U>THURSDAY</U></EM></STRONG></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">You will do an exercise in class that shows how hair found at a crime scene may be used to help solve a crime.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'"><STRONG><EM><U>FRIDAY</U></EM></STRONG></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">You will begin your microscope lab work on examining, identifying and drawing different kinds of hair and fur from prepared slides, and slides that you make in class.
