in commercial art, drafting , technical illustration, production art. Began
teaching career 30 years ago at Livingston High School, Livingston, NJ. I
have a varied background and experience in the arts.
I am beginning my fifth year of teaching Art and this year, Freshman
religion, at Mount Saint Dominic Academy
which I'm proud to say is my Alma Mater! The administration of this school
is wonderfully supportive of artistic endeavors . This and the nice young
women that I teach make my job a pleasure!
Very interested in the creative potential of my students. It is my
intention to help them develop as a whole person and to become confindent
enough to explore their gifts and to use them these gifts creatively. I
teach
technique and the basic design principles of Art as foundations but with
a clear intention to avoid stifling uniqueness and individual creativity.
I am very committed to my Roman Catholic Faith and it is my wish to impart
the love of learning about spirituality and the church to my students and
to have fun doing it!
