Summarize the reading for class on Monday. =================================================================================== Monday, November 2nd: Review Iliad notes =================================================================================== Wednesday, October 28th: Doll's House Essay due ============================================================= Tuesday, October 27th: Doll's House Test =================================================================================== Wednesday, October 21st: World Literature 1 & 2:Read Act III up through page 1119. Stop where Nora says, "Yes Torvald, I've changed." World Literature 3: Read up to the bottom of page 1116 ====================================================================================Thursday, October 15th: Finish reading Act II, answer the Interpreting Meanings questions on page 1108, and be prepared for a quiz on Act II. ============================================================= Wednesday, October 7th: Read Act II, up to page 1096, and answer the following questions 1. What do we learn about Anne Marie? 2. What kinds of questions does Nora ask of Anne Marie? 3. What does Christine Linde assume about Dr. Rank? ==================================================================================== Monday, October 5th:Final draft of your college Essay is due; be sure that it is in MLA format; if you are not sure how to format your essay, check your handbook or your Writers Inc. books. ================================================================================== Friday, September 25th: Hand in a draft of your College Essays for me to mark up and return to you by Monday. I will give you the due date for the final draft next week. =========================================================================== Monday, September 21st: Begin working on your college essays, bring all drafts to class every day this week. ===================================================================== Wednesday, September 16th: World Literature, Sections 2 & 3-Short quiz on Age of Innocence; World Literature 1 will have their quiz the following day. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, September 14th: Be sure you are familiar with Age of Innocence. The first day of class will consist mostly of receiving your text books and an introduction to the course, and discussion of the summer reading. Your first official assignment will not be far behind.
