About The Nurse

Ms. Lenihan has been at the Mount for 10 years.  She is the School Nurse and 
teaches Health to the 9th, 11th and 12th grade students. She has been a 
nurse for 25 years with a Degree in Nursing and a B.A. in Sociology. She was 
employed in the hospital sector prior to coming to the mount.  She is also a 
member of the Student Services Committee and coordinator of Rebel and 
Healthy Living.  She enjoys going to plays, traveling, reading, walking and 
yoga.

Goals of the School Health Services Program

To provide and maintain a professional Health Office, incorporating a 
knowledgeable, experienced, caring and safe environment.  To maintain and 
utilize knowledge of current health issues and state guidelines to ensure 
the optimum health and safety needs of all the students and staff. 

The goal of the Health classes is to encourage good self concept,self worth,
establish critical thinking with the knowledge of current health issues and 
maintain positive choices in the Decision Making Process in all areas of 
life skills.
