What is expected of Mrs. Leon's language students?
Students are to come prepared for class with their anthology, homework, and
writing utensil.

Homework is due on the date designated. It is not accepted late for a grade.
Projects will be lowered one grade for each day late.

How do I bring up my grade?
You can bring up your grades by doing all homework, projects, and studying
for tests when necessary. Reading independently helps your overall grasp of
the English Language.

How do I study for this class?
Reading tests-go over all notes, study vocabulary, and REREAD the story or
article.
Spelling tests-write the words out and then spell them to someone for
practice.

Is there any extra credit?
Extra credit is barely offered. If you do all work assigned, you should do
well or pass this class.

Our mission is to prepare students for the future-- the opportunities and
the obstacles.
Students are expected to come to class with their anthology, planner,
homework, and writing utensils.

Our mission is to prepare students for the future--the opportunities and
obstacles ahead. Being able to read, comprehend, and communicate are keys to
success. We would like our students to enjoy coming to school, to earnestly
communicate their ideas, to enjoy reading, and to have fun learning!
