Children grow in faith best as members of a faith community that includes their families, their classmates and teachers, and the parish community. In 2nd grade we will share our beliefs in God's creation, The Holy Trinity, Jesus the Son of God, God's Church, Living God's Love, Signs of God's Love, and bibical stories of God's love involving Noah, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Elijah, and the birth of Jesus as fullfillment of God's promises. In 2nd grade we get to celebrate our First Holy Communion in May with our classmates! We discuss all the information contained on all the religion tests in detail in our classroom, and a copybook is used as a refresher at home.
