Dear Parents,

Thursday November 12,2009 The school will be hosting a Math night. All the
children are invited. We hope you will join us for an enjoyable fun filled
evening.
We are now working on the color yellow, the shape square,the numbers one
and two. We will continue to work on the childrens' names and the letters of
their names.Please help your child to say, clearly, their full name; first and
last.
For Math we will be exploring patterns, naming shapes and counting to 5 before
the end of November.
I hope everyone enjoyed the frog puppet; the poem on back will be used during
the school year as we learn to count objects (insects). Please keep the frog
safe the children may wish to use him again to sing the song as we add insects
to count in class.
The theme in Religion is "People who love us take good care of us."The purpose
is to help the children recognize and appreciate that people who love us and
take care of us want good things for us.
If you have not as yet brought in a picture of your family Please send
one ASAP thank you.We have put them up in the class. As the missing pictures
arrive we will put them up. The children are excited to show their pictures to
their friends.
