This is my fourth year teaching at our Lady of Mount Carmel/St Andrew the
Apostle Regional School. My formal education began at Christ the King
elementary school,then to Holy Rosary in 4th to 8th grade; I attended Camden
Catholic High school in Cherry Hill.The college I attended was Glassboro
State,I earned a BA degree in Special Education and Elementary Education.
I am married with 3 grown children and one grandchild, Eric who will be 3 in
October of this year. My three brothers and two sisters live in the area.We
grew up in Voorhees.
We will be exploring and learning about "self" and the concept of "me".The
children will participate in small and large group discussions. They will
begin to recognize their name and the names of classmates and
teachers.Following directions and encouraging cooperative play by sharing and
turn taking will be stressed. The class will be learning colors and shapes,
working with the numbers 1 to 10, writing numbers and letters; especially the
letters in their names. Cutting with scissors, circle time activities, hands
-on manipulative exploration and art and movement activities will be part of
the program for the Per-k 3 children.
