Homework is expected to be done. Homework will be counted as a grade toward 
your semester grade. It will have the same weight as classwork grades. My 
grading policy is 50% tests, 25% quizzes, and 25% homework/classwork.

Homework should be written down by your child on a daily basis. I am placing 
homework on the web site as a courtesy.  However, teaching is fluid and 
plans often change. If my homework does change I will try to update but I 
cannot gaurantee.  I am human and will try my best. I will repeat that it is 
the student's responsibility to write their homework down.

All families should be checking for school email daily - all notices are 
going out by email.  No paper notices will be sent home.

6th - Chapter test on Wednesday.  Begin reviewing,  review pages are 132-133

7th -  outline French and Indain War lesson

8th - finish outlining lesson 4.  Power Point presentation is due on Monday. 
Be prepared   Do you turn in Geography worksheet- it was due today but I am 
missing many.

12/7   Remember Pearl Harbor, 68th Anniversary

6th - p. 133, Check your understanding, write all questions and their answers
in copybook

7th - p. 197, #1-5,  For Friday, must find a political cartoon, look for 
something about healthcare or war in Iraq or Afghanistan,  can get cartoon 
from newspaper or from the internet.  Bring in cartoon along with a written 
explanation of it on loose leaf.

12/8   6th grade Social Studies test will be on Thursday  keep studying

7th - Complete packet.  watch Spotlight video for lesson 4  Remember 
political cartoon due on Friday

12/9

6th -  Chapter test tomorrow   Study

7th - Define vocabulary Ch 4 les 4,  that means the people and places too.  
Vocabulary  worksheet,   Political cartoon due Friday

8th -  Make sure your powerpoints are saved properly,  check-  they need to 
be in 1997- 2003 format.  We cannot view 2007 version in class

6th-  no homework,  make sure yu have supplies to work on your life size 
sarcophagus

7th - quiz tomorrow on lessons 3-4   STUDY   STUDY    STUDY

8th - open notes quiz on Wednessday on powerpoiint presentations

12/15

summarize and reword the main idea??  Take an online quiz
