I will use these rubrics to grade all assignments.  If you complete each check mark, you will receive a satisfactory grade.
 
Revolutionary War Cartoon<o:p></o:p>
Social Studies Project<o:p></o:p>
Due Tuesday, May 27<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
    Choose 1 battle from the Revolutionary War to draw a cartoon about.  The battle must be from your textbook p 97-114.                    /2<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
   Draw 3 frames or more.  (Frames look like boxes.)            /3<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
   Explain the major events of the battle by drawing descriptive pictures.  <o:p></o:p>

   Write captions (sentences underneath the pictures) to explain what is happening in each picture.                                                       /9<o:p></o:p>

   Write 10 creative questions before the interview begins.                                      /10

   Ask the person about how the time of his/her childhood was different from 2008.
For example, what technologies (inventions) did the person not have that we have now?                                                                                                                                       /5

   Ask about his/her favorite activities as a child that are different from activities of 2008.                                                                                                                                   /5

   Ask about special adventures/stories from the person's life that are interesting.                                                                                                                                                  /5

    Write a story about the person's life.  Rewrite your interview notes as full sentences.  Combine the sentences to write a story that makes sense.                                               /10
