What is my grade based on?

Everything in this class counts equally. Speaking and listening assessments
will count for 50% of your grade, and reading and writing will count for
50%. Some speaking and listening activities are oral presentations, role-
plays, interviews, and listening comprehension. Reading and writing
activities will include some grammar, letter-writing/guided compositions and
homework. Class participation will be counted in the form of "euros," which
will be given out for participating in class and rubrics. These "euros"
will be counted and assigned a grade oncea month. Assessments will
sometimes be announced.
