Yellow progress folders went home again today with two graded assignments:  Unit 2 math test and a reading assignment.  The math test should have two papers attached in front of it:  the Profile of Progress where students reflect on their comfort level for each skill taught in Unit 2 and a Reflection on Errors where students categorize their errors and correct those made on the test.  These tools are meant to encourage students to manage their own learning as well as to celebrate their growth in mathematics.

Also, with the cold and flu season here, we are asking for a tissue donation if you can spare a box.  Thank you.

 

 

Tuesday, November 3

 

Parents:  I have not received all parent conference forms back.  If you have not turned yours in, please do so by Wednesday, November 4. 

 

Conferences begin Wednesday, November 18 and run through Tuesday, November 24. I will be conferencing on 3 days:  November 18, 20, and 24.  Unlike elementary school, students will have a full day of school.  There are no half days or days off during conference time.
