Week of November 16
*Tuesday*
Students who have read a book that they enjoyed and wish to share with their
peers should prepare a short book talk for our Bagels and Books celebration
this Thursday, November 19. You are also required to fill out the yellow card
I presented so that we can keep a list of peer recommended books for years to
come.
Not everyone needs to give a book talk this Thursday. Only those students
that were fortunate to enjoy a particularly good book that is worthy of
sharing with their classmates. The Bagels and Books celebration will be held
four times a year, at the end of each marking period. It is expected that a
student would be able to do at least one book talk during the school year.
